Dark chocolate almonds, like many dark chocolate covered nuts, can be found in three main configurations: individually covered nuts, almonds in a dark chocolate bark or cluster, and dark chocolate bars, squares, or pieces containing almonds. I've also found a couple of unique "extras". Here's a sampling.
Individually Covered Almonds
You can find individually covered almonds at almost every web site selling chocolate, or nuts. They're very popular. Some are produced by some big names, others are covered by big name chocolate. For example:
Almond Bark and Clusters
There are plenty of recipies out there to make your own, but also many big and small web stores and specialty chocolate or nut places will also make and sell there own. Sometimes there may be an extra ingredient thrown in -- I've found dark chocolate almond bark with cherries before. And there are also plenty of sugar free options.
Bars, Squares, and Pieces
Some of these are simply dark chocolate with almonds, others have fruit as well.
A few more interesting items
Dark Chocolate Almond Joy? Yep. Also called "Almond Joy Chocolate! Chocolate!" The "regular" Almond Joy is one of the only milk chocolate products I'll eat. I've always enjoyed a Mounds, and have always thought a Mounds would be great with almonds. Now we can have both the dark chocolate and the almonds!
Emerald Cocoa Roast almonds covered in dark chocolate flavored cocoa powder. OK, this is really about the almond, not the dark chocolate. The container even says the almonds are covered with dark chocolate "flavor". This probably means there is very little dark chocolate, and too many other ingredients in the covering. But they're good!
